Global Supply Chain Access Service - Oil and Gas

Project Owner: Industry Capability Network WA
Project Value: n/a
Project Status: In Progress
Location: WA, Australia

The Industry Capability Network (ICN) Global Supply Chain Access Service aims to connect Australian/New Zealand (ANZ) suppliers into oil and gas global supply chains.

With the ICN actively liaising with international project owners/operators, module contractors and engineering/procurement hubs, the program endeavours to promote the global competitiveness of ANZ suppliers.

Program objectives;

  • Connect suppliers to global supply chain opportunities
  • Assist global procurement teams to pre-qualifying Australian suppliers

Project 1:
Seek to assist Asian module contractors and engineering/procurement hubs better understand the global competitiveness of Australian suppliers

Project 2:
The aim of the Guangdong Province Services Program is to facilitate opportunities in the China Oil and Gas sector and assist Australia and New Zealand suppliers that are actively exporting in the Oil and Gas sector. The China Oil and Gas Program targets export opportunities for Australian industry and facilitates access to these, providing guidance and business support to Australian companies bidding for work in China.
The Program will target opportunities for Oil and Gas from three significant projects:

  • Zhanijiang Refining & Ethylene Project, Sinopec
  • Huizhou Refining & Ethylene Project, CNOOC
  • Jeiyang Refining Project, CNPC

Potential opportunities in the quality, health, safety and environment (QHS&E) sectors.

Both projects are looking to assist ANZ suppliers that are actively exporting to the Oil and Gas sector and that can be found to be competitive in terms of price and/or a clearly articulated value proposition. If your company qualifies, and is in a position to access global supply markets, and supply to the projects please contact the managers of the projects.

The Australian Government through the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research (DIISR) is the programs principal provider of funding through a Supplier Access to Major Projects (SAMP) grant. ICN has gained funding from the Federal Government together with matching funds from the Victoria and Western Australia State Governments.  The service is managed and operated by the Industry Capability Network.
